Friday Night at Ours: Research Wrap
What have MAMA’s hosts learned from their explorations of the concept of hospitality over the past few months? The idea of hosting has been central to both the Friday Night At Ours-series and their independent research. Our hosts Giu Di Dato, Katayun Taraporevala, and Benticklyn Redkina will present their findings this Friday during Kunstavond.

MaMA’s public engagement team consists of Giu Di Dato, Katayun Taraporevala and Benticklyn Redkina. During their talent development trajectory they try out new methods to welcome visitors in our exhibitions, and develop their own research in relation to the space.
Friday Night at Ours is a comfy ‘n cozy series of gatherings that cater to the art of making people feel at home. During each Kunstavond – a monthly night to wander downtown art spaces for free – MaMA’s public engagement team (a.k.a the hosts) will facilitate an event inspired by the many ways people gather at their house: a dinner, a birthday party, a game night and so on…Friday Night at Ours is not your normal exhibition visit, during these evenings you can experience our institution in a different light – whether we’re in the middle of build-up or in the midst of a full-blown exhibition, on Kunstavond MaMA’s showroom feels like stepping into a friend’s home.
