The House of Manawi Keke is a house inspired by houses from drag culture, with a fine art twist

Just like the past two summers, MAMA is making its showroom available for a cool initiative. This Summer Swap returns annually.

This year: The House of Manawi Keke, a house inspired by houses from drag culture, with a fine art twist. As house mothers Keke van de Ven and Hemaseh Manawi want to support other artists in this cruel and cold art world. The exhibition Mixed Nuts; Tales of our own perception is their introduction as a platform.

Artists: Keke van de Ven, Hemaseh Manawi Rad, Jeanine Vloemans, Marloes Vreeswijk

Next to the exhibition they are organising several events. Because families that art together, stay together.

About IRL

Our lives are dominated by the self-produced realities that we encounter on the internet and social media. This tension between fact and fiction touches upon the core of our leitmotiv IN REAL LIFE. The only way to escape the post-truth is to meet each other in real life. We facilitate these meetings in the form of readings, lectures, masterclasses, workshops, excursions and parties that tangibly express the ideas behind HOME | IN REAL LIFE | NETWORKS.
