Maria Lamslag
“My name is Maria Lamslag and I am a kopi susu – a mix of Indonesian coffee and Dutch milk. I have a background in Art History. Currently, I work as researcher, writer and curator next to my (documentary) film and photography projects. Why my interest in art? That must be answered with 42. The cicak is my favourite animal: this gecko has a shine through skin and rescues you from mosquitoes. In seven years and four months I see myself anywhere, still working in art plus finishing a book.”
