Kunstblock
Kunstblock is a collaboration between the Witte de Withstraat’s cultural institutions: MAMA, TENT, V2_, Centrum Beeldende Kunst Rotterdam, Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art and WORM
Kunstblock’s mission to improve the quality of life and further develop the Witte de Withstraat as Rotterdam’s cultural heart, and to set up and strengthen lasting relationships (with institutes, entrepreneurs, residents, and visitors) through art projects and interventions.
In addition to cooperation in (educational) programming and organising the free Art Evening, Kunstblock was also a substantive and organisational driving force behind the famous festival The World of Witte de Withkwartier and the monthly cultural talk show De Derde Dinsdag (The Third Tuesday).
Kunstblock shows how attractive, vibrant, and diverse urban culture can go together with well-informed and innovative arts and culture.
