Join us for a two-day fundraising event on February 8th and 9th at the MaMA showroom. The event aims to raise essential funds for humanitarian and social initiatives supporting Palestine through a collective effort as well as provide a space to share clothing, art, drinks, and conversations. 

Event Details

• Clothing Swap: participants are encouraged to bring pieces of clothing they no longer need and take freely from the donations available
• Art Market: Artists will be selling works, including prints, posters, zines, and other pieces, with all proceeds donated to the selected charities
• Media and Music Area: a space will be set up where visitors can read zines from the art market, listen to music, or engage in conversations.
• Drinks and Snacks: non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available for a donation
• Auction: on Saturday at 16:00, five special items will be auctioned, offering an opportunity to contribute further to the fundraising effort

The Charities:

The Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF): An internationally recognized organization dedicated to providing free medical care to Palestinian children in need, rebuilding medical infrastructure, and supporting families affected by violence.

alQaws for Sexual & Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society: A grassroots organization that champions LGBTQ+ rights in Palestine, providing safe spaces, educational resources, and advocacy for sexual and gender diversity within a context of ongoing occupation.

By donating, you’re directly contributing to these critical efforts on the ground, helping to rebuild communities and empower individuals.

This event stems from the initiative of our showroom hosts Bentiklyn Redkina, Giuliana Di Dato and Katayun Taraporevala to be more than a fundraiser – a space for community. Us hosts are grateful for the possibility to use the MaMA space to make a tangible, positive impact.
