Eli Cholakova
“My hometown is in Bulgaria, near the Black Sea coast. I moved to the Netherlands in 2017, seeking new encounters and opportunities. My aim was to rediscover myself and dive into an exciting unknown world, exploring boundaries and letting myself to be free. Art in all forms is my biggest passion. It’s an interest that I’ve developed while growing up. I believe Art is the future and that it holds the power to change things for the better, both locally and globally.
I was also asked to tell a little bit about my favourite animal: deers. They are so humble and gracious. I think they possess an ancient wisdom and knowledge. One day I want to reconnect with nature, probably back where my roots are. I might start up a sustainable living community.”
