“I have a quite mixed background as I hold a BA in Japanese studies (Venice, Italy) and a MA in Cultural Economics & Entrepreneurship (Rotterdam). About two and a half years ago I moved to Rotterdam for my studies and I fell in love with the city’s energy; the reason why I decided to stick around for a little longer and get involved in the local art scene. Since I was a child I have always been fascinated by art. I participated in the production of various artistic events from a young age – from the school play in middle school to film festivals in Venice or Rotterdam. Seeing as I decided to settle in Rotterdam, of course I could not miss the opportunity of collaborating with MAMA’s amazing team. Also, I sometimes watch videos of humpback whales singing before going to sleep. Their communication system is intriguing and I would love to be able to understand it one day.”
