MaMA 

You are warmly invited to our housewarming party! Join us for the first edition of a new series of gatherings at MaMA, Friday Night at Ours. As MaMA’s hosts we spend so many hours in the showroom, it has become a bit like our living room, and now we want to invite you in. During each Kunstavond MaMA’s public engagement team (we, the hosts) will facilitate an event inspired by the many ways people gather at their house; a dinner, a birthday party, a game night and so on…This is not your normal exhibition visit, during Kunstavond you can experience our institution in a different light – whether we’re in the middle of building up or in the midst of a full-blown exhibition – on Kunstavond MaMA’s showroom feels like stepping into a friend’s home.

This first gathering will take the shape of a housewarming. Being in the midst of an exhibition installation in many ways mirrors a renovation; excitement for all the new memories we’ll make paired with second thoughts on the wall colours we chose. Have a drink between our moving boxes, give us unsolicited opinions on our new furniture or join the house tour. 

Will you come over to help us out? 

We hope to welcome you soon. There will be a cold (or warm) drink waiting for you.

This exhibition is part of Kunstavond. Free admission every first Friday of the month from 6-9 PM at MaMA, V2_, Kunstinstituut Melly en WORM, Instituut voor Avantgardistische Recreatie.
