Starting Wednesday 19 March 2025, MaMA will charge admission for the exhibitions in our showroom.

Why are we doing this? To be able to invest more in the talent development of young makers!

MaMA offers young makers a platform, and supports them step by step in devising and setting up an exhibition. By charging admission for these exhibitions, we create space to further deepen presentations and public programming.

MaMA will offer three different types of tickets: a standard entrance ticket for €2, a MaMA Community Card for €7, and a free Solidarity Ticket

While the standard entrance ticket gives you one-time access to our showroom, the MaMA Community Card is ideal for those who want to revisit an exhibition. With this €7 card, you can visit three of our exhibitions unlimitedly. The MaMA Community Card is valid for one year. So, if you haven’t finished watching that one video yet, or if you want to spend more time with your favorite artwork, come around with your Community Card! When you purchase a MaMA Community Card, you will receive a limited edition sticker for each exhibition.

To make sure MaMA stays accessible for everyone, we offer three Solidarity Tickets free of charge every week. Do you want to contribute to the accessibility of MaMA, by buying a Solidarity Ticket for someone else? You can! Pay €2 on top of your own entrance fee, and pay it forward!

Our showroom is free of charge for Rotterdampas holders, and during the weekly Kunstavond, which takes place every Friday from 18:00 to 21:00. We also kick off each of our exhibitions with a festive, free opening event.

See you in our showroom!

Love, MaMA
